If you don’t want to be stuck in the kitchen all morning. Prep your favorite breakfast casserole ahead of time to pop in the oven while you’re opening presents. We love to make casseroles to share in our Mud Pie bakers. One of our favorite dishes is a classic Sausage and Cheese casserole dish, from the Kitchen of Mackenzie Byerly.
Sausage and Cheese Casserole
Ingredients
6 slices of breaded cubed
6 slices of breaded cubed
1 ½ cups of shredded cheddar cheese
8 eggs beaten
2 cups milk
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 325
2. Cube bread and place evenly in greased 9 x 13 pan
3. Sprinkle evenly with sausage and cheese
4. Mix eggs, milk, salt and pepper
5. Pour over ingredients in pan
6. Bake for 45 minutes

Holiday Cranberry Jalapeno Dip
Ingredients
1 bag raw cranberries, rinsed
1 bunch of cilantro
2 jalapeños
1/4 cup sugar
8 oz cream cheese
Crackers
Directions
1. Chop cilantro
2. Core and seed jalapeños and dice
3. Food process cranberries
4. Blend together
5. Add sugar
6. Refrigerate overnight
7. Serve over Philly cream cheese with favorite crackers
8. Garnish with rosemary
